Here is a picture of the king of scat himself, the maestro of music, the coolest of cats. Mel has made a great impact on my life, not just the way I live it, but the way I look at it as well. You ask me to find a better musician, arranger, or even composer, and you'll find me with a sheepish grin on my face because this is as good as it gets baby! Mel not only has the best sound in the world of music, but I believe he has the best mind as well. It doesn't matter if he is speeding through a high-speed scat fest, or crooning like he does best, Mel Tormé is just tops.
